Short description in English (Inspired from version produced for WALInnov)
09/2017 : Interchange between "Prototype" and "Demonstrator"
The product is on the market. A policy for product follow up and/or expansion is in place.
The solution is packaged and validated according to qualifications, standards and approvals required for the intended market.
The process of "production" is implemented and a pre-series of the solution is produced and will be validated in real conditions or operational environment.
The product prototype is the ultimate model before the commercial product. As such, it is very close to what will be on the market and validates the performance that will actually be offered by the product.
This is a more realistic model and demonstrator for validating the functions of the solution in a significant environmental modeling the actual conditions of use.
The basic functions of the solution is validated with a model in a lab environment i.e. an environment completely controlled by the researcher.
The proof of concept of the selected solution/application is established by analytical and experimental studies. The feasibility study outlines the main characteristics and parameters of the solution and clarifies the constraints and requirements of the development phase.
An analysis of the problem/application envisaged in the project is proposed with a description of how to address this problem by using the ideas of level 1. It will therefore be creating a couple "problem-solution". This corresponds to the invention.
This level is the stock of ideas. The basic principles of these ideas are described. It is expected to have documents resuming the results of research ( Research paper / lab items , bibliographic research , ...). This represents the Fundamental Research.
